I get it in order to keep their store safe a local store has a sign on the door that says no panhandling,  no loitering and no squatting.  Honestly I understand the intent.  The truth is it is aimed primarily at the homeless community and the adicts.

Sometimes, rather rule most be broken. The other night, a person was meeting me at the store. They were kicked out. We I got there I offered to purchase a drink for them. Security tried to stop them until I said they were with me.

Tonight I had some fun.

I was visiting the night shelter. I often stop at the tents during my evening walk. I had to meet one of the employees. I did that stepped outside where a group of the community was laughing and joking. Soon, I was part of the group.

I decided to treat the group. Soon, the 10 or 11 people and I were heading to the above store. Others joined us. When asked where we were going, I said we were going to have fun at the store. By the time we arrived, we had 16+ people.

I offered to purchase all of them a beverage of choice. The security was a little concerned at the crowd. I entered last.

The group was well-behaved and light-hearted. The staff and security even had fun with us. I even bought all of the staff a Red Bull. They loved it. Even other customers got in on the fun.

In the end, it was a simple way to spread some joy.

God loves all these people. So do I.
