In the business of life rest is a weapon to keep you going. It is needed.

We had a group visit the center for the first time since January of 2020. It was a good weekend. A hectic weekend. A busy quick weekend. In addition, I made a visit to Langford Lutheran Church to tell the story of the center.

The group left this morning. I sent my staff home to rest, and I took the afternoon off to allow myself to rest. I did a couple little things around the house and did laundry. I started to pack for my next trip.

Rest is a different thing to different people. Yes I napped but, I also did things to allow my brain to disconnect. I played with the dogs.

I rested.
